The target audience for this film would be towards an older age group of people from 15 years old and above since the miss-en-scene includes an extent of gore being blood splatter on windows. The reason why I think that this film doesn't have a rating of 18 is because the zombies mise-en-scene do not have explisit gore such as noticeable wounds and spilt guts.

I think that Shaun of the Dead would be categorised as letters C2, E and D since the humour in the film is easily understandable. The dialogue used is also slurred speech.
